SEMIYA PAYASAM


INGREDIENTS::
Milk                                             1/2lt
Vermicelli/Semiya                         1 cup
Ghee                                            1 tblsp
Nuts(cashew nut/almonds)            2 tbsp                             
Raisins                                         1 tbsp  

Sugar                                           1/2-3/4 cup
Cardamom powder                      1tsp

PROCEDURE::
1)Heat ghee in a pan roast vermicelli in it till it turns golden brown.
Fry the raisins until they grow in size.
Fry the cashew nuts till they turn golden brown.
2)In a deep thick bottom pan add milk and boil it.
3)Once the milk gets boiled add the sugar and stir to dissolve the sugar.
4)Add the roasted vermicelli to it and cook for 10 -15 minutes until the vermicelli gets cooked(Cook just till soft don't over cook because vermicelli may dissolve and become soggy).

5)Add the cardamom powder and raisins and cook for 1 minute.
