Maida/All purpose flour               1 cup
Jeera/cumin seeds                         1 tbsp
Curd                                              2 tbsp
Ghee                                             3 tbsp

Black pepper powder                   1 tsp
Baking powder                             1/2 tsp
Kasoori methi                               1-2 tbsp(optional)
Water                                            1 tbsp
Salt                                               as needed

1) Dry roast the cumin seeds/jeera till we smell nice aroma.
Cool down and crush the jeera with the help of roller/prestol.

2) In a bowl add maida/all purpose flour, ghee, salt, yogurt and black pepper powder .
Mix well .

Add the crushed cumin seeds/jeera and kasoori methi to it. Knead it into a dough.

3) Make small balls out of the dough.
Spread them into rounds with the help of rolling pins.

Or make a big ball and then roll into bigger sheet . Use a cutter or back of lid to cut into desired shapes.

4) Take a oven safe pan and then cover it with a parchment paper.Place them and bake in oven at 350 degree Fahrenheit(170 degree celsuis) for 18-20 minutes.

Or  Heat oil in a pan for deep frying. Then place them in the oil once it is brown on one side flip to the other side . Once it gets fried then take it on to kitchen towel to remove excess oil.

I love to spread some pickle on it and eat tastes best.
Serves best with tea or coffee.
