Maida/all purpose flour                          2 cups
Ajwain/vammu                                       1 tsp
Salt                                                          as needed

Red chilly powder                                  1 tsp(adjust according to spice level)
Water                                                      enough to make dough
Oil                                                           for deep frying +1 tblsp

1) Take maida, salt,oil and red chilly powder in a bowl.
Now add water little by little and make a dough like chapathi.

2) Let the dough rest for 30 minutes. 
Now divide the dough into equal parts. 

3)Now roll them into thin rounds like we do for chapathi.  
Now cut them into small diamond shapes with knife.

4) Take oil in a pan and then heat the oil for deep frying.
Now take out the diamonds and carefully put them into oil.

5) Deep fry the diamonds in medium flame making sure they don't burn.Turn them often for even coloring.
Take them onto kitchen towel to drain the oil.

                   Yummy tea time snack is ready.
