LEMON POHA(ATUKULU)



                            A quick 15 minute breakfast recipe how nice to hear that  right. Busy days ,lazy days basically any day quick cooking is always nice. Lemon poha can be made with either lemon or tamarind extract. Any thing with poha is quick. I usually make Kanda poha, lemon poha, dahi poha  . 
                           I realized i din't post lemon poha recipe . So here it is. 


INGREDIENTS:
Poha/atukulu                              1 cup
Turmeric powder                       1 tsp
Green chilies                              3
Curry leaves                               4
Lemon juice                               2-3=tbsp(adjust accordingly)
Salt                                            as needed

FOR TEMPERING:
Oil                                              1 tbsp
Mustard seeds                            1 tsp
Urad dal                                     1 tsp
Chana dal                                   1 tsp
Peanuts                                      2 tbsp

PROCEDURE:
1) Wash poha/atukulu with water for 2-3 times.
Drain the water and keep aside.

2) Heat oil in a pan. Add the mustard seeds, once they splutter add the urad dal, chana dal and peanuts. 
3) Now add the green chilies and curry leaves. Fry for 1 minute.

4) Now add the washed poha , salt and turmeric powder.
Toss until it mixes well. 

5)Finally add the lemon juice and turn off heat.
Let it sit for 3-4 minutes and serve.
