PEANUT CHIKKI


INGREDIENTS::
Peanut                    1 cup
Sugar/jaggery        1 cup
Ghee                      11/2 tsp


PROCEDURE::
1) Heat a pan and dry roast peanuts in them.(approx  4-5 mins)
Cool down and remove the skin from them.Keep aside.

2) Melt ghee in a pan and add the sugar/jaggery to it. Stir constantly.After sometime the sugar/jaggery starts to melt.  Keep stirring.

Take a little syrup aside after 5-6 mins and check for it. If it starts freezing the syrup is ready.
If it doesn't freeze cook for another 2-3 mins.
3)Once the syrup is done add the peanuts to the syrup.
Mix well and cook for 2-3 mins. 

4)In the meantime spread some oil on surface of plate or kitchen platform.
Then add the syrup with peanuts on the surface . Bring it into a perfect square and then cut it into desired shape.

Once it cools down store in airtight container.
