Onion 2(slit length wise)
Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
Red chilly powder 1 tsp
Fresh grated coconut 11/2 tsp
Coriander leaves few leaves
Oil 2 tsp
Salt as needed
Mustard seeds 1/2 tsp
Cumin seeds 1/2 tsp
Garlic cloves 3
Curry leaves 1 sprig
1)Cut kakarakayalu into rounds and remove seeds from them.
Add water, salt, sugar to them and rub the pieces to remove the bitterness.
2)Heat oil in a pan.Fry the kakarakaya pieces.
3)Heat oil in a pan, then add mustard seeds let them splutter then add the cumin seeds, asefotide ,garlic cloves and curry leaves.Now add the onion pieces and fry well until they turn transparent.(5 minutes)
4)Add the ginger-garlic paste. Fry until the rawness leaves it. Now add coriander powder, red chilly powder and grated coconut to it.
5)Fry well and then add the fried kakarakaya pieces to it.
Now add the salt to it. Fry well .
6)Now add the chopped coriander leaves to it and turn off the heat.
SERVE WITH RICE.
