15 MINS MICROWAVE PULAO



INGREDIENTS:
Basmathi rice                             11/2  cup
Mixed vegetables                       less than 1/4 cup (carrots,green beans, corn)
Onion                                          1/2 no.(slit lengthwise)
Green chilies                               3
Ghee                                           2 tbsp
Biryani leaf                                 1
Cloves                                         3
Star anise                                    1 
Jeera                                            1 tsp
Biryani masala                           1 tbsp
Salt                                             as needed
Water                                          3 cups 

PROCEDURE:
1) Wash and soak the basmathi rice for 20 minutes.
2) In a microwave safe bowl add ghee , biryani leaf, cloves, jeera and star anise.
Microwave for 30 seconds.

3) Now add the mixed vegetables ,onion and green chilies to it. Microwave for 1 minute.

4) Mix and then add soaked rice to it. Add the water, salt and biryani masala.
Mix well and then microwave for 14 minutes.


5)After 14 minutes let it sit in microwave for 5 minutes so that the rice gets set.

Finally add chopped coriander leaves and serve with raita.
