Wheat rava                                      1/2 cup
Oats                                                  1 cup
Curd                                                 1/2 cup
Green chilies                                    1(chopped finely)
Ginger pieces                                    1 tsp

Coriander leaves                               few
Lemon juice                                     2 tbsp(nearly 1/2 lemon)
Eno fruit salt                                    1/2 tsp
Salt                                                   as needed
Water                                                 1/2-3/4 cup

Mustard seeds                                    1 tsp
Urad dal                                             1 tsp
Chana dal                                           1 tsp
Oil                                                       1 tsp

1) Take oats in a non stick pan. Dry roast them for 3 minutes until the raw smell of oats leave them.

2)Once they are cool grind them into coarse powder.

3) In a pan heat oil then add the mustard seeds, once they crackle then add the urad dal and chana dal.
Now add the wheat rava to it. Fry for a  minute to leave the raw smell.

4)Now add the wheat mixture to the powdered oats.
Then add the curd,lemon juice,salt, grated carrot,green chilies,ginger pieces and coriander leaves.
Mix well
5)Then add the water and mix well to avoid lumps. The consistency should be of idly batter thick but not runny like dosa batter.

6) Place idly cooker on the stove grease the plates.
Now add the eno fruit salt to it. Mix well.
Immediately pour the batter on to the idly plates.

7)Cook for 10 -15 minutes. Turn off . Leave for 1 minute and then serve with chutney.
