SHILPA'S AAYIS RECIPES

Few years back while I was planning to make something new in my kitchen I always ended up in her blog.  Her recipes have a motherly touch and warmth which we all crave for. This kept me wanting to come back to her blog often. The cuisines have special scent that creates memories and triggers nostalgia for everyone. The mother daughter strong bond and the layers of happiness which reflects in their blog . She is Shilpa and her aayi Varada ji .  Yes, I was talking about AAYI'S RECIPES .  She has cemented in the food blogging world since 2005. Since then they have guided many new and enthusiastic home cooks. While aayi's recipes revolve around the traditional and home cooked inherited recipes. On the other hand Shilpa's recipes add a pinch of modernism to the blog with new global recipes. On a whole it is a treat to everyone. Have you ever seen a nutmeg tree, I haven't either .So, I was mesmerized to see how the nutmeg and raw pepper seeds look like in their blog  . Thanks to them for introducing many species, nuts,  tips and recipes along with beautiful stories woven around them.

Being a mom, work and blogging . How do you juggle up things? How do you manage to  post recipes?
I am not able to post as many recipes as I want to, kids are priority at this age. I try to post when I get some free time. I am unable to spend time blog hopping or keep up with social media. But I do what I can.

Your blog stands out in India's top bloggers list since a long
while. What kept it going in your opinion?

I started the blog to save the recipes that I grew up knowing. I started adding the recipes I learnt from different places. I really enjoy cooking and feeding people. I am very passionate about food and that excites me. Blogging gave me many friends who have similar interests. My entire family has contributed to the blog in one way or another. These are the things that keep me going.

You have been blogging since 2005  its almost 11 years. So what changes did you find in blogging world since then?

When I started blogging, everyone was mostly doing it for fun and enjoyment. Now I feel it is very commercialized. I see many of my blogger buddies have taken it as a career and it is so fascinating to see. I feel so happy to see how far the food blogging world has come. It is now an enterprise!
