Cucumber raita is a good side dish with rotis/ chapathi. It is a super coolant raita very much suitable for summer months. It goes well along with chaat recipes. As cucumber has a cooling property this raita is perfect after fast . This raita is good along with roti /chapathi/ paratha. For this yogurt , beat the yogurt until it is smooth. If you enjoy the raita in thick consistency then make sure the yogurt is thick. As cucumber has water in it so don't add much water to it.I grated the cucumber but we can cut the cucumber into small pieces . So, note down the ingredients and jump into your aprons.

Yogurt/curd 1 cup
Cucumber 1/2 cup
Red chilly powder 1/2 tsp
Jeera powder 1/2 tsp
Chaat masala 1/2 tsp
Coriander/cilantro leaves few
Salt as needed
1) Take yogurt/curd and whisk it into smooth texture.
2)Peel the cucumber and then grate it using a grater.
If we want we can cut the cucumber into small pieces.
3) Add the grated cucumber to the yogurt/curd.
4) Now add 1/2 tsp red chilly powder , 1/2 tsp jeera powder, 1/2 tsp chaat masala and salt to it.
5) Finally add the chopped coriander leaves to the raita.
Serve along with biryani.
