Idly                                   5-6  (left over)
Onion                                1(medium)
Green chilies                      3
Ginger                               1 tsp(chopped)

Curry leaves                      1 sprig
Turmeric powder               1/4 tsp
Salt                                    as needed
Oil                                     1 tsp

Mustard seeds                   1 tsp
Cumin seeds                      1 tsp
Chana dal                          1 tsp
Urad dal                            1 tsp

1) Crumble the idly and keep aside.

2)Heat oil in a pan, now add the mustard seeds, once they splutter then add the cumin seeds , chana dal and urad dal.
3)Now add the ginger pieces, onion ,green chilies and curry leaves.
Once the onion turns transparent then add the turmeric powder and salt.
4)Now add the crumbled idly to the tempering and mix well. Let it cook for 3-4 minutes.

Turn off heat. Add lemon juice and mix well(this is optional)
