Hi Neeru, thanks for joining me in this conversation. So tell me
What was your life before blogging ?
I was working as IT Architect in a Bank.
Tell our readers about your blog ?
My blog mainly focuses on diabetic friendly recipes & leftovers. I choose diabetes because most of the families (including mine) has diabetic family members and there is always a myth that diabetes cannot have varieties in there food.
Leftover food, on the other hand mainly comes into the plate of the person in charge of kitchen. I always wanted to make interesting recipes out of leftover.
Apart from these two areas for the traditional recipes, I always choose elderly home chefs who have not got an opportunity to show there culinary skills to outside world. In that way I also learn a lot of tips from them.

If you could be at any age for a month. What age would that be? And food you would like to eat?

You do experiment with food. Can you share some?
Staying in Singapore has allowed me to explore into more varieties of food as there are multiple races here. Most of the products are easily available in near by super markets. Hence my scope for experimenting and creating healthy food is much wider. That is how recipes like "Thai Brown rice Sakkarai Pongal", Vietnamese Dragon fruit & Millets Kesari, Japanese purple sweet potato, weetbix mixture and many more recipes were created.

When and what was the first thing that you cooked?
Simple Rasam during college days.
Apart from blogging. What do you do?
I am an active volunteer in community clubs and keep myself occupied doing volunteering work.

If you were to go on a romantic date with your husband to any restaurant in the world. Where would that be ?
Royal Dragon Restaurant – Bangkok Thailand. The world's second largest restaurant.
What is the one food that cheers you up?
Any food made out of dark chocolate
What is the strangest food name you heard?
Seaweed. Just for its name I didn't eat for a long time assuming it is not a vegetarian.
What is your favorite cookbook?
So many.. But the latest one is "Lip Smacking Dishes of Kerala- Nimi Sunilkumar "
What is the one thing you order at a restaurant all the time?
Lemongrass tea
