MANGO LASSI

When i was a kid best part of summer were vacations and  mangoes . My mom used to make squashes, lemonades, fruit juices and lassi during summer. Instead of Popsicle she used to remove the fruit pulps and fill the ice trays with a Popsicle stick . Specially Popsicles made with mango pulp were yum.
Surprisingly my hubby is not a big fan of mangoes 😳 .  Only form he prefers them is lassi.
I love to use mango pulp on dosas , sweets, milkshake and smoothies. I always have a can of mango pulp in stock round the year. The place i live don't have wide varieties of mangoes. Ohh i miss Indian mangoes  :(.  Mango lassi is super easy and filling.

INGREDIENTS:
Yogurt                           1 cup
Mango pulp                   1 cup( 2 to 3 mangoes)
Sugar/honey                  2-3 tbsp
Milk                              4-5 tbsp(optinal)
Cardamom powder       1 tsp

PROCEDURE:
Mango Pulp:
Deskin the mango and cut into pieces.  Blend the mango into smooth paste.
Now we can use the mango pulp in lassi , smoothies and sweets.

Traditional way:
1) Whisk the yogurt into smooth texture.
2) Now add the mango pulp  and sugar to it.
3) Whisk everything together and serve chilled.
If you don't prefer thick consistency then add little milk and whisk again.

Quicker way:
1) Blend everything together in a blender . Make sure everything is mixed well.
Add milk if needed .
Serve chilled.
