BARBATI /LONG GREEN BEANS CURRY


INGREDIENTS::
Barbhati/Long green beans          2 cups          
Onion                                         1(chopped)
Green chilies                               3(slit length wise)
Tomatoes                                   3(finely chopped)
Chilly powder                             1 tsp(adjust)
Ginger-garlic paste                      1 tsp
Salt                                             as required

FOR TEMPERING::
Oil                                             2 tsp
Mustard seeds                           1 tsp
Cumin seeds                              1 tsp

PROCEDURE::
1)Cut long green beans and then par boil them for 5 minutes .Keep aside.
2)Now heat oil in a pan  and then add the mustard seeds.Once they splutter then add the cumin seeds.
Add the onion.green chilies and saute until the onions turn transparent.
3)Add the chopped tomatoes and salt.
Cook till the tomatoes turn mushy.
4)Now add the par boiled barbhati/long green beans .
Finally add the chilly powder and water .
Close the lid and let it cook for 15 minutes.
