I am never a big fan of coconut except the coconut rice. Once my husband introduced me to this cookies . As i am not that much into cookies, I din't try them. Once i was in real hunger that literally i have to feed on them. Wondering why i never tried them.They were divine. So i wanted to try them at home. And never knew they would turn out this good. Loving them. Do try and let me know how your cookies are....

Wheat flour                                             1/2 cup
Sugar                                                       1/4 cup
Unsweetened Desiccated coconut           1/4 cup
Unsalted Butter(room temperature)        1/4 cup
Vanilla essence                                        1/2 tsp
Salt                                                           a pinch
Milk                                                         2 tsp
Unsweetened desiccated coconut            for sprinkling

1) Add sugar to butter and then beat them to make it fluffy and soft.

2) Add the vanilla essence and salt to this mixture. Mix again.
3) To this add the  wheat flour, unsweetened desiccated coconut to the butter mixture.
Mix them well so that the flour mixes well with other ingredients.
4)Preheat the oven to 180 degree Celsius or 350 degree Fahrenheit.
Now add milk little by little and mix well.
Make it into smooth dough.  Divide them into 10 small balls.

5)Spray a oil on the baking tray and then sprinkle some flour on it.
Now place the dough balls on it and shape them as desired.
Place the cookies 1 inch apart.
6)Now sprinkle some unsweetened desiccated coconut on them.

Place the tray in the oven and bake it for 16 -18 minutes. 

The cookies are soft straight from oven.
Let them stand for 5 minutes and enjoy it with some hot tea .
