CARROT IDLY


INGREDIENTS::
Urad dal                         1 cup
Idli rava                          21/2 cup
Salt                                as required
Shredded Carrot             1/2 cup
water                              1/2 cup (use as needed)

PROCEDURE::
FOR BATTER:: 
 1)Soak  urad dal for 3-4 hours. Also soak the idli rava for 1-2 hours.
2)Now grind the soaked urad dal by adding water little by little. It doesn't require much water.
3)Wash the soaked idli rava , then add the grinded urad dal  and mix well.
4)Let the batter ferment for 8 hours or  overnight.

5)Add salt when it is ready to use.

FOR MAKING IDLIES::
1)Now grease the idli plates with little oil and then sprinkle the shredded carrot on the plates.
2)Now pour the idli batter on it .

3)Let the idli steam for 10 minutes.

                   SERVE WITH COCONUT CHUTNEY...
