CHENAGA PAPPU KOBBARI FRY

                                     
           

INGREDIENTS::
Shredded coconut                                        1/2 cup                    
Chenaga pappu/ Bengal gram                        1 cup
Red chilies                                                     3
Curry leaves                                                  1 sprig
Salt                                                              as required                                                         
Oil                                                                1 tsp
FOR TEMPERING::
Mustard seeds                                              1 tsp
Jeera                                                             1 tsp

PROCEDURE::
1)Soak the chenaga pappu for 1 hour. And boil the chenaga pappu until it becomes soft.
2)Now in a pan, add little oil and when hot add the mustard seeds and once they splutter add the cumin seeds, onion and curry leaves.
3)Once the onion turns transparent then add the red chilies .
4)Now add the chenaga pappu , salt and cover the lid and let it cook for 5 minutes.
5)Finally add the shredded coconut to it. And let it fry for 2-3 minutes.

                   SERVE WITH RICE AND SAMBAR
