FISH CURRY/CHEPALA KOORA


INGREDIENTS::
Fish(tilapia)                            500 gms
Onion                                     1 medium
Tomato                                   1
Curry leaves                            1 sprig
Ginger-garlic paste                  1 tsp
Chilly powder                         1 tsp
Coriander powder                  1 tsp
Water                                     1 cup
Oil                                          2 tsp
Salt                                        as required

For Paste::
Onion                                      1 small
Tomato                                    1 big
Cloves                                     3
1" Cinnamon                            1
Green chilies                            2

PROCEDURE:
 Fry the fish and set aside.
1)Grind the onion, tomato, cloves, green chilies and cinnamon. Make it into fine paste by adding little water.
2)Take oil in a pan, once hot add the onion. Once it turns transparent then add the green chilies and curry leaves.
3)Add the ginger-garlic paste. 
4)Add the paste. Saute until the raw smell leaves it(2-3 minutes).
5)Now add the tomatoes and let it become mushy. Cook till the oil separates from it.
Now add the coriander powder and red chilly powder.
Add a water and salt. Let it boil(5 minutes)
6)Now add the fried fish to it and let it cook (10 minutes).
Finally add the coriander leaves and turn off.
