PUMPKIN CURRY


INGREDIENTS::
Pumpkin/Gummidikaya                               100 gms
Onion                                                        1 big(chopped)
Ginger-garlic paste                                      1 tsp
Tomatoes                                                   2(chopped)
Green chilies                                               3
Curry leaves                                               1 sprig
Coriander leaves                                          2 tsp
Red chilly powder                                       1 tsp
Salt                                                           as needed 
Oil                                                             1 tsp

PROCEDURE::
1)Peel pumpkin and cut into cubes.
2)Heat oil in a pan, then add the mustard seeds once splutter then add the cumin seeds, urad dal and chanadal.
3)Now add the onion pieces let them turn transparent then add the green chilies , ginger-garlic paste.
Saute for 1 minute.
4)Now add the tomatoes let them turn mushy which will take 4-5 minutes.
5)Now add the pumpkin pieces, salt and red chilly powder.
Add little water and cook for 5-7 minutes.Finally add the coriander leaves.
Stir in between checking for the pieces to get cooked.
Turn off heat.

                       SERVE WITH RICE.
