SHAHI PANEER
Paneer(Cottage cheese) 400 gms
Onion 2 medium
Tomato 4-5 medium
Cashew nuts 15
Red chilly powder 1 tsp
Coriander powder 1 tsp
Salt as required
Butter 2 tblsp
Kasori methi 1 tsp
Garam masala 1 tsp
Cardamom powder 1/4 tsp
Cream(optional) 1/2 cup
PROCEDURE::
1)Heat oil in kadai, add onion and cashewnuts. Saute until the onion turns transparent.
Take aside and cool down.
Now add the chopped tomatoes in kadai and let them become mushy. Take a side and cool down.
2)Now grind the onion, cashewnuts and tomatoes into fine paste by adding little water(2tsp).
3)Now in a non-stick kadai add the butter and once it melts add the paste .
Let the paste get cooked covered for 10 minutes.
4)Now add the cubed paneer pieces , chilly powder, coriander powder, kasori methi, cardamom powder and salt. Let it cook for 5 minutes. Turn off heat.
Now add the cream and serve hot.
