Mutton/goat 500 gms
Ginger-garlic paste 1 tsp
Chilly powder 11/2 tsp
Bay leaf 1
Coriander leaves 2 tsp
Oil 11/2 tsp
Salt as needed
Cashew nuts 8
Poppy seeds 1 tsp
coriander seeds 1 tsp
1) In a pan add some oil once hot add the bay leaf. Once the nice aroma comes out then add the onion let the pieces turn golden brown then add the ginger garlic paste. Saute for 1 minute.
2)Now add the mutton/goat to it. Saute it for 5-7 minutes.
3)Grind the cashew nuts,coriander seeds and poppy seeds by adding little water.
Now add this paste to the curry.Saute for 2 minutes.
4) Add the tomato pieces to it and cook till the tomatoes become soft .
5)Now add the chilly powder and garam masala powder to it.
Saute for 2-3 minutes.
6)Now add the potatoes and salt saute for 2 minutes.
7)Finally add some water and let it whistle for 3 whistles.
Turn off the heat .
SERVE WITH RICE OR CHAPATHI
